Photo Critique

These pictures have been submitted to The Grid, a photo podcast, for critique by professionals. If they get selected for critique, I'll post a link to the episode here.

This photo was shot in a restaurant, against a window. I overexposed two steps to blow out the background.

This photo was taken in a café. I used a flash with a speed grid and a CTO gel.
 
This photo was shot at a Tattoo/Steampunk convention. I had bought my flash just a few hours before. Thanks to one of Scott Kelby's photo books, I knew enough to angle the flash upwards, and to use a diffusor.
From a shop window in Gothenburg. I pressed the lens against the window to avoid reflexes. A tip I picked up from an episode of The Grid.
